Guild Mandates and Expectations ... aka Rules

Standards of Conduct

  • Upholding of all guild values and rules is required of all members. There are no exceptions whether you have been a member for 10 days or 10 years. All members must maintain the values of the guild.

  • Members should behave in a mature way. Self focused, loot focused, immature people will be removed from the guild.

  • Make friends in the guild. At our core, we are a Guild of Friends. So make friends. Those friendships make us strong.

  • Any issues with guild policies should be brought directly to the guild leaders, either one on one, or via email. Publically bashing or complaining about them is not tolerated.

  • Personal attacks on other members are not permitted. Handle issues with other players in a mature way. If needed, contact the guild leader, baby leader or an officer.

  • Backstabbing, looting, stealing from, scamming or otherwise harming other members is not permitted. It all goes back to our core value that this is a guild of friends.

  • Profanity, sexual content and obscene content are tolerated as long as it is not meant to offend or degrade anyone, in or outside of the guild. This includes, but is not limited to, ethnic groups, religions and sexual orientation. Bottom line, bigotry of any kind is not tolerated. This goes back to our core value, that this is a guild of friends.

Guild First Mentality

  • All actions taken by members reflect on the guild and all of its members. As such, we expect every member to always act in a way that will not damage the guild image or any of its members.

  • We recruit the person, not just the toon. We look for good people that are willing to work with and help improve the guild. We do not simply look for toons that can meet a set of requirements. The only requirement is to be able to hold your own and be willing to listen and learn.

  • We do not allow members to be active in other guilds in games where we are present. This leads to confusion and conflict.

  • Members participating in our alliance guild's raids are required to do so on an alt, so that they are able to participate in Rowsdower Roughneck raids.

  • Positions within the guild are decided based on shown ability and dedication to the guild. This means they are not titles or positions of popularity. This assures that the people holding these positions are doing their best to ensure that the guild is an enjoyable aspect of the game.

  • All new members will go through a two week trial period to ensure a good fit with the guild.

  • If issues occur, they need to be reported to the guild leaders so that they can be dealt with and changes made if needed.

  • This is a guild of FRIENDS. Helping and supporting your guild mates is expected, as they will do the same for you. This guild understands that personal character sacrifice is sometimes needed for the guild to move forward as a whole. We do not consider it a sacrifice since we are helping a friend and making the guild, as a whole, stronger.

  • Games come and go. A good friendship always remains.
